The DFARS Course

The ability to use the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is essential for both DoD acquisition professionals and their industry partners. The DFARS Course will prepare you to navigate and apply DoD implementation and supplementation of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Recommended prerequisite: The FAR Bootcamp®.

The SAP Course

In The SAP Course you will learn how to streamline the acquisition of supplies and services by using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR part 13. In this course, attendees will learn how to apply the policies for using SAP; competition requirements; solicitation, evaluation, and award; and simplified acquisition methods. All lessons include real-world exercises designed to enable application of course material.

The FAR/DFARS Subcontract Flowdown Course

The FAR/DFARS Subcontract Flowdown Course prepares Federal prime contractors and their subcontractors to comply with flow down requirements of FAR/DFARS clauses. Students will learn to determine the applicability of FAR/DFARS clauses from the perspectives of the Federal Government, the prime contractor, and subcontractors. Students will also differentiate flowdown requirements in subcontracts for noncommercial, commercial, and commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items.

The Comparative Contracting Methods Course

Learn the rules of the different methods of contracting available to the Acquisition Team in the Comparative Contracting Methods Course. You will learn about the basics of contract formation; the similarities and differences among sealed bidding, negotiated contracting procedures, simplified acquisition procedures, research and development selection procedures, architect-engineer selection procedures, and ordering under existing contracts using the procedures of FAR subparts 8.4 and 16.5. All lessons include real-world exercises designed to enable application of course material.

The Contract Administration Course

Learn and apply the basic concepts and principles of contract administration in The Contract Administration Course. You will learn and apply the rules regarding contract administration planning, initiation of work, contract performance management, contract modifications, payment, disputes & appeals, contract termination, and closeout of contract files. All lessons include real-world exercises designed to enable the application of course material.

The Small Business Programs Course

In The Small Business Programs Course, you will learn how to apply the policies and procedures of FAR part 19 and DFARS part 219. We will place emphasis on developing contracting strategies that maximize opportunities for small business concerns in both restricted and unrestricted acquisitions. Target audience: small business professionals, contract specialists, and small business concerns seeking to do business with the Federal Government.
